Good morning swim families. Wow, what a fun day of swimming at JRAC champs out at SwimRVA for the Gators. You guys gave it your all yesterday and your coaches are so proud of you. As a team we ended up in 7th place out of 16 teams. I know some of you are thinking we normally get top 5 every year at champs, but this year was a little different. We didn't have as many swimmers in champs this year due to the schedule change by JRAC having champs a week earlier. Area schools changed their calendars and so did JRAC. In the big scheme of things though as a team we look at the whole season not just champs. Your coaches saw a lot of great fun, friendships and improvements this summer from our swimmers. THIS is what summer swim should most importantly be about. In the next few days, JRAC will send out meet results from champs and when they do, I will immediately send them out to you for your viewing pleasure. Go Gators!
