Good morning, Gator families. Happy 4th to everyone. The coaches have had some questions about champs coming up in a few weeks, so I wanted to reach out to clarify the process. Attached is a top times report for our team showing all the swimmers who have champs qualifying times going into our last meet. What this means is that your child is eligible for champs. Now, JRAC champs meet only allows us to bring two swimmers for each event and by category. For example, we can bring two QUA, two R, two X and XX. The coaches typically select the top in each event, but this year maybe different since a good amount of folks aren't available for champs. So, if your child is on this report, please declare in swim Topia if you are available for champs. This will make our selection process next week a little smoother. Lastly, if your swimmer isn't on this report there is still another meet to try to get a champ's qualifying time in their events. Swimmers let's bring the energy and speed on Monday night to get some best times before champs. Please send me a message if you have any questions about this process.
