Februrary blew past and we are now into March with the "spring forward" looming.  Registration has been open for a week and we already have 31 swimmers registered - thank you!  I find it exciting to check the daily registration report and see who has joined the team this year.

I want to give a shout out to all of those Gators who are swimming at NOVA in the Sunday clinics.  It's great to see you in the water improving your strokes and your stamina.  It is all that effort, and parent support, that makes Avalon a successful team.

There are many things happening behind the scenes:

• The design for the T-shirt is being finalized and is looking very cool. 
• An Avalon swim bag is being embroidered and as soon as it is complete I will add a photo of it to the website.  I think you will like it and find it quite useful.
• We are brainstorming ways to celebrate and commemorate both individual and team wide time improvements.

Finally, a worskshop will be held on March 16th at 7pm at the pool.  You will be able to see a run through of a registration, learn how to navigate through the wesbite and get your questions answered.  If you can't make it this month, there will be another on April 13th at the same time and place.
