My son can't believe that Monday is the last meet. Where has the summer gone?
Please use the RSVP option under "Swim Meet" to let Rachel know if you will be attending & if you can attend Champs. The coaches will creating the Champs team on Wednesday & the info will make it easier.
Back to Monday. Here is some useful information provied by CCV about the meet (please note the early warm-up time):
· Start time: Warm up begins at 5:30pm; the meet begins at 6:30pm. Your card distribution table will be located on the south wall in front of the Clerk of the Course Table.
· Parking: In general, parking is limited. Please carpool if possible. All parking for the meet will be directed to the lower lot, located at the west end of the aquatics complex. Spillover traffic will be directed by security guards as needed. Parking is strictly prohibited on St. Andrew’s Lane, just to the north of the main clubhouse, out of courtesy to our neighbors. It is best to enter CCV's main entrance off Three Chopt Road and proceed to the first left turn – you will pass the pools on your right.
· Food: CCV's snack bar, The Poolside Cafe, will be open during the meet. The Cafe offers a wide selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads, ice cream, snacks and drinks. The Cafe will also offer a $6 swim meet boxed meal special. Please be advised that the Cafe only accepts cash. (There is a more extensive Café menu available but it is too big for me to attach).
· Seating: Visiting team side is the north side of the pool, and there will be ample bleacher seating on the pool deck for watching the meet. We will also have plenty of room for lounging, for bags, coolers, and all your team’s materials by the zero entrance family pool (north side). Please note that this pool is entirely closed for the meet’s duration.
· Weather: In the event of inclement weather, we will wait one hour from the time of the scheduled start of the meet to postpone the meet. If the meet has started, we will wait one hour from the stoppage of competition to postpone the meet. If there is thunder or lightening, it will be necessary to clear the pool deck and guests are asked to wait in their cars until a determination can be made.

Our Gators were great during the last meet - great listeners, swimmers & hosts. I know we will see more of this sportsmanship this week as we finish up our season.
