Last Week's Successes!

Here are the highlights from last week's meet against Walton Park:
- Avery Rogers dropped 8 seconds in the Midget Girls 100 IM, placing 3rd in the regular division. On the Boys' side, Thomas Moore and John Pollard each dropped almost 6 seconds apiece, winning the regular and novice divisions respectively.
- In the 11-12 Girls' IM, Lauren Lemelin dropped 11 seconds to win the regular division. Samuel Moody led the boys in time improvements with a 3 second drop.
- In the 13-14 Girls' IM, Maddie Albrecht dropped almost 4 seconds to swim a time of 1:37.
- In the Mite Freestyles, Kyla Berkshire led the girls, dropping 1.5 seconds to earn a new X time of 19.02. Other big time drops include Caroline Wood (2.40 seconds), Jessie Lindeman (2.14 seconds), Madeleine Carithers (3.30 seconds), Lauryn Miller (8.01 seconds), Brooke Capuzzi (2.36 seconds) and Lily Collins (2.46 seconds). For the Boys, Matthew Moore dropped 1.88 seconds to win the novice division and achieve a new regular time, closely followed by Will Farrell, who dropped 1.97 seconds. Other big time drops include Ryan Macholz (2.26 seconds), Joshua Stein (3.87 seconds) and Spencer Steadman (2.33 seconds)
- In the Midget 50 freestyles, Hannah Frank and Thomas Moore posted impressive time drops of 1.68 and 2.94 seconds. Caroline Brickley also posted a large time drop of 6.18 seconds
- in the 11-12 50 Freestyle, Emma Manring, Caroline Nyfeler and Claire Early all posted time drops of over a second each.
- In the Mite Backstroke, Amelia Macholz dropped 3.3 seconds to win the regular division and make a new 'X' time. Kate Aaronson and Ellie Wood also had large time drops, as did Christian Miller on the boys side.
- In the 9-10 Boys' 50 Back, Benjamin Wrobel dropped 4 seconds to win the regular division.
- In the 11-12 Girls' 50 Back, Claire Early dropped 3 seconds. Aaron Stein dropped 1.43 to win the regular division.
- Of the Mites who braved the inclement weather to swim the 25 Breaststroke, Maggie Scott posted the largest time drop of over 6 seconds. On the Boys' side, WIll Steadman achieved a new 'X' time by dropping 1.9 seconds. Grayson Boyd, WIll Farrell, Carson Shade, Christian Miller, and Alex Bott all achieved time drops of over a second.
- In the 9-10 50 Breaststroke, Willow Clark swam a new 'XX' time of 46.06 after dropping 4.17 seconds. Lucy McLaughlin had the second largest time drop with a 3.66 second improvement. Colin Whiting narrowly missed an Avalon record with a time of 42.33 seconds.
- In the 11-12 Breaststroke, Liza Miller dropped almost 5 seconds off of her old time and teammate Helen Boyd dropped 2.67.
- In the 13-14 Boys' Breaststroke, William Wrobel and Matthew Whiting each dropped over 1.5 seconds.
- CiCi Clark, the sole representative from Avalon in the Mite Girls' 25 Butterfly, won the event after dropping 4.37 seconds. On the Boys' side, Matthew Moore dropped an incredible 7.63 seconds on his way to a new 'R' time.
- In the 13-14 Girls 50 Fly, Havens Clark dropped 3.33 seconds.
