If you are already planning to be at the pool this week or over the long Labor Day weekend please remember to go upstairs to the board room to see if your swimmer has a ribbon or medal in their folders. There are also a couple of t-shirts from both the JRAC Champs meet as well as an Avalon Swim T-shirt plus a couple of gifts from secret buddies still up in the hanging file folders located in the board room. 

There are two remaining socials everyone should be aware of. The first is this Friday evening where the upper pool is split in half. One half in the deep end is for water polo for rising 6th graders and up. The other half is basically reserved for everyone else. The kids had a blast at the last one.  The other social is Fun-day, Monday Ice Cream galore Monday September 2nd from Noon until 2p or whenever the ice cream runs out.

Lastly, if you think your young swimmer might like to try swimming year-round or just think with a little more practice they might like swimming even more then please visit both NOVA and or  Poseidon for an evaluation. Both clubs still have summer evaluation dates and they are provided below. Additionally, you can also visit their websites if you have more questions.

NOVA: Saturdays August 31 and September 7 at 10am.

Poseidon: August 28 @ 7p, Aug 31 @ 10a, September 4 @ 7p and Sept 7 @ 10a.
