Good afternoon Avalon Swim Team Families-

We had a coaches meeting last night and we are all excited to begin practice next Monday May 18th and look forward to seeing all returning swimmers and families and all the new swimmers and families. There will be a one week change, next week only, for Mini-mite practice. Mini-mite practice next week will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00pm-3:30pm because of coaches scheduling conflicts and end of the year Senior projects and teaching schedules. Plus this will give me a chance to meet with all the parents prior to each groups practice. We have two coaches graduating and we have two coaches whom work full-time, one as a teacher and the other as a lot of things to say the least, one being full-time coach at NOVA.

The practice schedule from May 18th through June 12th will be only afternoon practice and from June 15th until the end of the season there will be morning and afternoon practice. The practice schedule is as follows:

From May 18th through June 12th

Mini-mites: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3:00pm-3:30pm (except next week)

Mites: Everyday 3:30pm-4:15pm

Midgets: Everyday 4:15pm-5:00pm

Juniors, Intermediates and Seniors: Everyday 5:00pm-6:00pm

From June 15th until end of the season

Mini-mites: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3:00pm-3:30pm

Mites: Everyday, 9:15am-10:00am, 3:30pm-4:15pm

Midgets: Everyday, 8:30am-9:15am, 4:15pm-5:00pm

Juniors, Intermediates and Seniors: Everyday, 10:00am-11:00am, 5:00pm-6:00pm

All swimmers are encouraged to attend practice every afternoon until school is out and once school is out attending either morning or afternoon is encouraged or both if wanted. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Please don't forget about the pancake breakfast this Saturday at Applebee's Short Pump.
