Good evening Avalon Swim Families,

I just want everyone to know how the first couple of weeks have been going with all the swimmers and to thank all the "new" swim reps we have helping us this summer. A huge thank you to Amanda Belding, Jenifer Cryer, Annette Bates and Lynley Steadman as well as all the others whom have been helping as there are more of you that I know I am forgetting.

This first two weeks have been going well. I was at practice the first day and we had a tremendous turnout and seem to have another great group of swimmers in each age group and a great number of swimmers which is huge being in the "bigger" division this summer. I was also at practice this past Tuesday and it seems as things are moving along smoothly and coaches Caroline, Martha Ann, and Taryn are doing a great job with organization and swim instruction. I want to be there full-time so bad it is killing me and can't wait for the the next couple weeks to be over so I can be. Looking forward to it.

I know this is a bit different than past summers, however, it is great to have such three great assistant coaches taking control and having things run smoothly in my absence. If there are any questions or concerns please relay them to me.
