This year we have planned several fun events for the swim team. Please mark your calendars:

Sunday, June 28th Pizza Pep Rally at the Pool from 5-7 PM

Tuesday, July 7th Avalon Spirit Night at Chipotle Stony Point. We will receive a portion of the profits from this event. Come eat dinner as a family and support the team! The timeframe is 4:30-9:00 PM.

Other reminders:

Ribbon books are for sale for $5. We also have bungee straps for goggles and Avalon Gators swim caps. Please see Kim Zincone at the pool to purchase Spirit Wear.

The parking space raffle tickets will be sold until next Saturday, June 20th. Pay $5 for a chance to win a RESERVED PARKING SPACE at all home meets. Please see Jenifer Cryer under the pavillion at practices.

Lastly but this is so important....

As a reminder, each family has a responsibility to do 2 volunteer slots per swimmer (with a family maximum of 4 slots). It is imperative that we have all volunteers fulfill their slots so we can make the meets run smoothly. We still have a few openings for Monday's meet against Three Chopt, and there are slots remaining for future meets. Please double check your calendars and make sure that all of your volunteer dates are on your calendar. If you cannot fulfill your slot, please find a replacement person to work in your place.
