Here is some information about Kanawha.

Parking: The Kanawha parking lot gets crowded and usually overflows on to nearby Holmes Road and Ralston Road. Please carpool if possible. We ask that you be mindful of our neighbors on surrounding streets and avoid parking in front of their driveways.

Warm­ Ups KRA at 2:15, Avalon at 2:30

Seating: Guest team seating is located to the right (north) side of the competitive pool. We will have chairs set up for your use. Seating is limited, so you may want to bring additional fold­up chairs.

Food: The Kanawha Snack Bar will be open during the meet and will serve snack­bar fare—pizza, hamburgers/cheeseburgers, soft pretzels, ice cream, sodas, etc.—as well as boxed sandwiches from Cuisine a la Carte.

Restrooms: T he restrooms are located near the main entrance to the pool. Three outdoor showers are available around the corner from the boys’ restroom. There is an indoor shower in the girl’s restroom.

Inclement Weather:
We will follow the JRAC Inclement Weather policy

 Rain does not postpone a meet. No decision can be made to postpone a meet until at least one hour from the time of meet start or last delay. If we are in a delay, we recommend that swimmers and families go to their cars for 30 minutes. If all individual events have been completed a meet will be considered complete. The meet director, JRAC representatives, and head coaches shall reach a consensus as to whether to reschedule a suspended meet.
