TIE DYE SHIRT INSTRUCTIONS
Good morning everyone. Hope everybody is safe following last night's storm! It was definitely windy out there.
Thank you for coming out to tie dye shirts yesterday and for patiently waiting for us to help you. It was our first time to do this with the team in a few years:) For anyone who did not pick up their shirts yesterday, Kim has worked hard and has them labeled in zip lock bags by family last name. We should have them at the home swim meet on Monday night for pick up.
Here are the instructions for how to handle the shirts after tie dying:
Let the shirt stay tied up for 24 hours. After the 24 hours are up, carefully remove the rubber bands.
Rinse the shirt out in cold water (a lot of dye will come out) followed by hot water. Someone yesterday suggested going this step in a bathtub or utility sink.
You may then launder the shirt in the washing machine.
Hope this is helpful. We can't wait to see everyone's masterpieces!
