HI Champs parents! This year we are making some changes to how we handle the food for the tent at Champs and swimmer goodie bags. In past years we have had families sign up to bring food or drink donations for the tent for the swimmers and families each day.

We are requesting that each family pay $10 for each swimmer that they have participating in the Champs meet. This fee will cover food and drinks for the tent on both days. It will also include a goodie bag for each swimmer. The goodie bags will have a drink, snacks, and a special Champs item. We will still do “buddies” for Champs. We will have the swimmers decorate the bags and add personal messages of encouragement for their buddies.

The parent reps thought this is a way to reduce the amount of stress at the end of the swim season for the parents. No more bringing food items on a shuttle bus or having to run to the store with your kids last minute to shop for goodie bag items.

We would like payment be made to ARA by next Monday. We will use set up times (Monday 7/25) for the kids to decorate bags and write their messages. The exchange of bags with their buddies will happen at Wednesday afternoon practice.
