Hello Champs Families,

Hope you're keeping cool on this sweltering HOT day!  A BIG thanks to those of you who signed up to help with Champs through our sign-up genius link http://www.signupgenius.com/index.cfm?go=s.SignupLogin&urlid=4090C4EAFAB2E5-arajrac (Gators - to access).  We now have only three spots left to fill (the jobs are easy).  They are all on Friday -

10:45 am - 12:45 pm Runner

12:45 pm - 2:45 pm Clerk of Course (help with seating), Meet Monitor

There are several reasons to snag one of these jobs quickly:

1) You're close to the action

2) Air-conditioning

3) Use of indoor bathrooms.  I'll let you all ruminate on the state of a Porta-Jon in 93 degree weather... 

For those participating in Champs for the first time, the prospect can seem overwhelming.  Please know that we are here to help answer any questions and assuage any fears.  Don't hesitate to reach out!  For those of you with mites, Angie Fischi has kindly volunteered to serve as Mite Mom in our Avalon tent.  She will help to get all of our mites to their events.  Thank you Angie!

I have also included a link to the JRAC page http://www.jracsummerswim.org.  They have posted a timeline for Thursday & Friday (they are almost ALWAYS running behind), but this can at least serve as a guideline.
