HI Avalon Gators. Please read the email below- Avalon won the Dunk Hunger contest this summer. A huge thank you to Jennifer Cooper, Marya Kravets, and Susan Wentzel for organizing the effort for the swim team. We also had some swimmers help with collecting items during practice- thank you to Cole Thomason, Wil Steadman, Seth Casey, and Thomas and Matthew Moore for helping us. And of course THANK YOU to all the Avalon swimmers, parents, and families who supported this worthy cause this summer. We are proud to be Avalon Gators!!

 

Well, the time has come to wrap up Dunk Hunger 2016, and I am thrilled to tell you that we raised 75,246 pounds of food for our friends at FeedMore! WOW!!

We have the final standings for you, and I am happy to announce our 2016 Dunk Hunger Gold Medal Winner is Avalon!! Congratulations!!! I will email you separately to arrange a check presentation for your whopping $1,000 grand prize!!
