I'm sorry for the confusion surrounding the Mock Meet. Here are the details.

The start time is 8:00 AM tomorrow morning. The mock meet is geared towards new younger swimmers who have never done a swim meet before, but all are welcome to come do a practice event. If you have been on the team before or don't feel like you need to practice, you are not obligated to come.

We believe that the mock meet will not last more than hour. So around 9:00 am the Gator Buddies Social will begin. Annette Bates just sent out an email with those details. We would love for everyone to come join those who participated in the mock meet, to meet your buddies and enjoy a popsicle.

Here are the notes about parking tomorrow morning with the tennis tournament set up:

Due to the Brian McCarty tennis tournament, there will be some changes on Saturday. They will start setting up at 7 AM and a parking attendant will help direct cars for parking. Swim team families participating in the Mock Meet should try to start by parking on the far left side of the parking lot (side opposite the tennis courts). The pool will close early at 4 PM to accommodate the tournament reception. Kanawha Recreation Association has graciously offered our members use of their pool from 4-8 PM while our pool is closed. Please be respectful of these times that they have given us. While all slots to play tennis at the tournament have been filled, you can sign up to attend the festivities at Avalon that day.
