Hey Gator Families!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We’re back to a normal week schedule. As we are winding down to the end of the season, please be mindful of the date for Champs and let us know if your swimmer is available (if they are qualified). You can declare your child for Champs the same way you declare your child for a regular season meet.

We have our 5th meet of the season against Walton Park tomorrow night. It is an AWAY meet. Please read the email sent by Mrs. Chang with reminders for the swim meet. Our warmups are 6-6:15, and the meet will begin at 6:30. The theme of the meet is Avalon colors. Just wear your gator t-shirts and any other green and blue to show your spirit! Wil also sent the entries out earlier. Please let us know if you have any questions about them. Your swimmer is only entered in the meet if you declared YES. If you did not declare, then they are not in the meet. I need to know before 10 tomorrow morning if there are any changes in your swimmer’s availability for the meet.

The Chipotle fundraiser is on Tuesday, July 13th from 4-8 pm. Mention Avalon with your order so that the team receives ⅓ of the profit. This is a great way to support the team :)

Fun practice is this Tuesday with ribbons, spirit awards, and gator of the week. Please remember to pick up your cap from previous weeks. I still have a lot of previous gator-of-the-week caps.

Senior night is next Monday June 19th, at our last home meet. We will recognize our seniors and celebrate their accomplishments.

Speaking of next Monday, we have a huge meet coming up. We swim Westwood at home, and we need all the swimmers we can get. Please RSVP by this Thursday at 7 pm.
