Hi Avalon swim families,

Please be on the look out in the next few days for swim team registration information and more detailed information about the summer swim season. The plan is to start swim team practice Thursday, June 18th, about a week after the opening of the pool. However, please remember that everything depends upon the directives and guidelines of government officials.

Coach Tim and all the coaches are excited to get started but we have to wait a little longer. We wanted to get out some information to let you know we are thinking of you all and planning the season. This swim season will be unlike any we've seen before. There will only be morning practices and we will have to split up practice times to adhere to social distancing guidelines. We will not be participating in JRAC virtual meets but we WILL have 2-3 inter-squad meets. The cost this year will be $75 per swimmer. There will be no mini-mites and Coach Tim has asked that you only register a new swimmer if they can safely swim the length of the pool. Coach Tim or another coach can do a swim evaluation if you are unsure about your child's ability.

We want to keep everyone safe and healthy and also provide a fun environment to continue your child's/children's love of summer swim team. We also would like to have a few service activities to help those in our community in need.
