Good Morning  Gators!

I hope this final recap email of the season finds you well rested after yesterday’s marathon of amazing swims! Thank you for sticking it out in the rain and mud yesterday. Everytime I go through the results, I find another amazing swim by one of our Gators. We were off to a bit of a rocky start in the morning with our IMs, but that did not stop our fighting Gator spirit that has become such a force this season. You showed up to race, and race you did! But not only that, it made it even better to see you guys all smiles before and after your races behind the blocks. We had so much fun watching you crush your personal bests and having fun doing it. It was fun to watch our kids finish out the meet in the Crescendo relay, and the Coaches (and senior swimmers) take our turn in the Coaches Relay!

Avalon Finishes Fourth at Champs with 913.5 points

Avalon had another awesome 4th place finish at Champs today. We score 100 more points this year than last year- beating 5th place finisher KRA by 270 points- last year we squeaked out a fourth place over KRA by less than 100.

We dropped some serious time in the pool- 113 seconds across the entire meet and had several jumps in speed categories:

THANK YOU ALL for an amazing summer swim season. From the bottom of my heart I thank each of you for making this season the best. It has truly been an honor and pleasure to spend time with you and your kids. I hope they have learned a fraction from me as what I have learned from them. Keep in touch, I would love to hear how everyone is doing, and I will definitely be back for a visit next summer!
