Good Early Morning Gators,

Congrats and Thank you for an awesome final meet of the season. Its hard to believe we're already here. We've swum hard and smart all season, and I could not be prouder of the character of this team in and out of the pool. Every meet we showed we deserved to be in this upper division. A record of 2-4 may not look or sound that great, but looking at the meet results every week that number does not reflect the fighting spirit of the Gators! I've said it before but I don't mind saying it again- our presence in the pool was recognized by every team in this division, and our losses came down to numbers of bodies in the pool, not a lack of fast swims and event wins. Can't wait to see the damage this team can do at Champs!

Looking forward:

1. Tomorrow afternoon we will have our last fun practice of the season- all swimmers are are welcome.

2.Wednesday morning starts Champs practice. At this time all champs qualifiers should attend practice. Once entries have been sent out, those competing and designated alternates will continue on with practice through Tuesday July 24th. 

3. A reminder that champs practice times are the same as the regular season in the morning, but afternoons change. They are as follows:

10 and unders 3:30-4:30

11 and over 4:30-5:45

4. If your child has qualified for champs, but is unable to attend, please let me know ASAP if you have not already filled out the meet RSVP. I have already started the seeding process, and we will be spending the next 3 days going over it. If your child has qualified but you are having scheduling conflicts that affect getting them to the meet, please let me know and I'm sure we have figure out rides/ people to look after them at the meet!

5. Attached you will also find top times for those who have qualified- if your child's name appears on this list, they have qualified for champs. You will also find the Champs Heat Sheet Ad order form. These are due by July 20th.

Thank you again for a great season. To those who I will not get to see through the champs process or the banquet next week: thank you so much for your support and dedication to Avalon during my time at Head Coach. It's a truly great team that I feel honored to have been apart of. I will carry the memories of our time together on my adventures, and I hope I will see you all soon!
