Greetings Gators! 

The Avalon Parent Relay 2018 will look different than it ever has before.

1st: I'm the commissioner. Deal With it.
2nd: Coach Katie is Ok with what you're about to read AND she's excited about it.

Here's the plan: the relay will be BEFORE the first event at next week's meet and will include AVALON ONLY:      It'll be a 4x25 meter freestyle relay.

Lane 1: Parents of 8 & under swimmers
Lane 2: Parents of 9-10s
Lane 3: Coaches team (heavily favored, BTW)
Lane 4: Parents of 11-12s
Lane 5: Parents of 13-14s
Lane 6: Parents of Seniors

Hopefully, this will give all of our swimmers a clear lane to cheer for.

I have a feeling it'll be harder to field a team of parents from the OLDER age groups but we'll see how it goes.
