Good Morning Gators!

Hope everyone had a great 4th. Another week of the season is done! We are rapidly approaching the end of the season and champs. Here are a few notes going into the weekend.

-Tomorrow morning we will resume our Saturday morning practices. For the younger ones we'll focus on Breaststroke, starts and finishes. For the older ones we will focus on turns and speed work. Practice is from 8-9. Please make every effort to be on time so we can get started as soon as possible We have limited time and want to make sure we spend it swimming/instructing, and not rearranging lanes. 

-Meet #5 will be Monday night at home vs. Westwood. **The meet start time has been changed- the start time is now 6:00pm. Please adjust your plans accordingly. Novice strokes of the week are Free and Breast. We are carefully seeding this meet and next to make sure everyone swims every event they possible can before champs, as well as to change up relays as much as we can. Relays can be the most challenging part- for example we have 30 mite boys, and only 6 relay spots per week. Entries will go out Sunday Evening. 

-Please let me know ASAP if your meet RSVP has changed for Monday. Please EMAIL me, do not just change the RSVP on the website.

- Thank you to those of you who are sending your kids to practice with a water bottle. Please continue to do so as the temperature stays up and the pool temperature continues to rise. 

- Now is the time to start thinking about Champs. This year Champs will be on Wednesday July 25th at CSAC. I would like to encourage everyone with qualifying times to be open to it and ready to swim. We had an outstanding performance placing 4th last year. I believe we can have another great showing this year, if our team comes together and steps up to the challenge. The kids have stepped up to every challenge I have set for them thus far this season, and I have high hopes and confidence they can do the same at champs. -Sunday is our Chipotle fundraiser! Come out to support the team!
