We were missing about 40 of our gator swimmers tonight, but our presence in the pool was not unnoticed. Just like last week where we are lacking in quantity of swims, we made up for it in quality. We had minimal DQs which shows that our attention on the little things and being focused, mindful swimmers is paying off. At a challenging part of the season we were able to throw down 175 Best Times. The middle part of the season can be tough, and can sometimes feel stagnant or even that there is some regression. But we fought through it and I know the other coaches agree with me that we had another great showing tonight. Our performance does not go unrecognized by the other teams in our division. We might be smaller in comparison, but we are a force to be reckoned with. I'm excited to see where the end of our season leads us, particularly our performance at Champs.

    A few notes:

-There will be NO practices Wednesday July 4th. Enjoy the holiday!! In order to enjoy a day off, the coaches are tackling seeding for the July 9th meet tonight (Tuesday July 3rd). If you have not completely your RSVP, please do so before tomorrow night. We appreciate your effort to get it done early.

-As the weather continues to heat up, please be sure to send your swimmers with water bottles to practice, as well as make sure they are eating properly before practices and meets.

-There will be Saturday morning practice this week, 8-9 am Saturday July 7th.

    -Chipotle Fundraiser is July 8th!

Thanks for another great meet, see you at skittles practice tomorrow,

    Coach K
