    While the final score does hurt a little bit, I cannot say enough how proud myself and the rest of the coaches are of our swimmers last night. During our pre-meet meeting we talked about 2 things to focus on tonight: the things we can control in our races, and to fight- we had to fight for every race we had, and fight to put our hands on the wall first. The Gators came out swinging. From the very first IM heats to the final heats of relays the Gators were out swimming the Firefish left and right with some incredible races and finishes. And unfortunately it came down to numbers and who had more bodies in the pool. But again, we are unbelievably proud of the way our team attacked the challenge of the meet tonight.

    Going into this week;

    1. Please complete your meet RSVPs if you have not done so for our meet next week by Wednesday late afternoon. We will seed Wednesday night.
    2. We will not have practice this Saturday morning (June 30th) due to the Endorphin Splash and Dash. Looking ahead to next week, we will also not have practice on Wednesday July 4th.
    3. Make sure kids are bringing water bottles to practice has the days get hotter, and the pool temp heats up.
    4. This week we back to backstroke as our novice event with free. We will be making every effort to make sure every swimmer gets to swim every event, and we will also start switching up B and C relays to give more kids a chance to compete on a relay.

    Thanks for tonight!

    Coach K
